KFC Cole Slaw - Restaurant Recipe

I love being able to make this restaurant recipe at home!

I recently moved to a small town that doesn't have any of the restaurants I love. KFC being one of these. And the thing I miss the most about not having a KFC is the cole slaw. Other slaws are good, but none compare to KFC's.

And man is it easy to make at home!

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:

6 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3/4 cup chopped onions
1 cup sugar
4 1/2 teaspoons tarragon vinegar
2 1/2 cups Miracle Whip
2 carrots, finely chopped
2 heads cabbage, finely chopped

Step by Step

1. In bowl, combine oil, onions and sugar: add tarragon vinegar: fold in Miracle Whip.

2. In large bowl, combine carrots and cabbage; mix well.

3. Pour dressing over cabbage mix; stir well to combine.

4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
